At the Little Children Schoolhouse, our goal is to provide a caring extension of your child's home and family life. We strive to create an environment that nurtures the whole child. The development of a sense of connection with others is an important part of this mission. As such, we believe the concepts of community service and compassion are a fitting addition to our program. The Little Children Schoolhouse is proud to support Creighton University's program of Service Learning in Chimbote, Peru. This volunteer program seeks to improve the quality and availability of medical care for residents of Chimbote. The needs of the homeless, the terminally-ill, and women and children, in particular, are served by this volunteer effort. Students are invited to make donations of clothing, school supplies or even gently loved toys and games in support of the Service Learning program. Local Community ServiceJoin us in helping area schools defray their operational costs through the BoxTops for Education program. All Little Children Schoolhouse families are invited to join the drive. Please deposit your box top contributions in the tuition boxes located in the hallway at both Schoolhouse facilities.
