Welcome to the Little Children Schoolhouse

Early childhood is a wonderous time when the foundation for so much in later life is created. The experiences of young children play a significant role in their overall development - emotionally, socially, cognitively and physically.

Early Childhood Education

At the Little Children Schoolhouse in Brookline, we are mindful of how precious this time is and provide a warm, nurturing environment for each child. Our early childhood education activities and programs for infants, toddlers, preschool and pre-K children are tailored to the specific developmental needs of each group. The caring staff in our Brookline school provides classroom experiences that foster and engage children in active learning.

We believe early childhood education activities should capture the attention and imagination, and are most effective within a caring, supportive setting. Our dedicated teachers work together to build a curriculum that encourages students from Brookline and surrounding towns to actively explore and reach their own conclusions. The goal of our programs is to develop a love for the learning experience within a supportive extention of the children's home and family life.

These are the typical questions that I asked myself when I looked into that one perfect place for my son to come to everyday.
