Our Preschool program is tailored to meet the needs of children from 2.9 to 4 years old. Transition into this program is based upon a child demonstrating readiness.

The Preschool program at Little Children Schoolhouse focuses upon exploration, independence, gross and fine-motor development and nurturing emerging school readiness. Our well-trained teaching staff designed a curriculum to engage, excite and challenge the children.

We are proud to offer the largest space in Brookline for our Preschool program. The classroom features a sand, science and gym area in addition to kitchen and art centers. This spacious, open classroom area provides an engaging atmosphere that encourages independent exploration. All activities are available to the children throughout the day, so that children may enjoy self-directed learning.

Weekly activities for the Preschool include cooking, music classes, yoga, movies and structured reading as well as field trips.
