Children transition to our Older Toddlers around the age of 2 to 2.9 years. As is the case with all programs at the Little Children Schoolhouse, readiness, rather than age, is the determining factor.

Our classroom is bright, spacious and inviting. The Older Toddler childcare program further encourages exploration and independence, placing special emphasis on nurturing developing gross and fine-motor skills.

Designed by teachers specifically trained in Early Education, our Older Toddler curriculum features shape exploration, vocabulary development, fine motor challenges and creative exploration in a more structured environment. Children in the program enjoy regular music, art and cooking projects in addition to movies and library trips.
