Although the pre-school and pre-K classes are located in a our new facilities at 306 Washington St., our goal remains the same for all programs - to provide a safe and loving environment where children can learn and grow through play and nurturing relationships. We provide a balance between structured routines and activities that encourage individual choice and expression.

Both programs, but most especially pre-K, are geared toward strengthening emerging skills. As children develop and transition to pre-K, we provide an expanded age-appropriate program that encourages the development and mastery of skills vital for school-readiness. Our teachers evaluate each child's progress throughout the program and regularly share this information with parents. In addition, we are happy to provide guidance and recommend resources to extend the learning process at home.

We believe play is the primary learning experience for children. Our pre-school and pre-K programs are guided by this tenant. We provide a developmentally-appropriate learning environment mindful of each child’s individual needs that encourages learning through rich experiences. We have found that children are best able to learn and master new skills through involvement in engaging, fun and challenging situations.
